Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, the following notice explains the information we collect, how it is used, safeguarded, and how to contact us if you have concerns.

What information is collected?
As part of the order process, the following information is collected from shoppers:

Shipping / Billing Address
Email Address
Phone Number
Credit / Debit Card Information

How that information is used:
No data will be provided to external agencies for any reason except as required by state or federal law. We do not maintain a record of your credit / debit card after the transaction is approved by the credit card authorization entity.

We are committed to the security of your data and employ all due diligence through our selection of recognized credit card processors, through in-house controls on client information and through our use of a nationally recognized and respected web host: Infosaic


We will maintain a file of your name and shipping information and may send you emails from time to time. You may opt out of receiving any further contact simply by writing an email to admin@hvartsupply.com stating that you do not wish to have further contact unless initiated by you.

Orders will usually be sent out within one week of the order placement via UPS Ground or US Mail. In some cases, materials may be backordered. Backordered items will be shipped immediately upon arrival from Hocking Valley Art Supply & Gallery to you. You are responsible for all costs of shipping. A handling fee of $5.00 per increment ($1.00 - $99.00) will be assessed.

After submitting your order, you will be contacted with final product costs, shipping information and handling costs.

Please note that all cost in the "Art Supplies" section of the website are at "List Price". You are guaranteed at least 15% off the list price, and much more in some cases. You will be notified of all actual product costs before you are required to pay for the products; shipping costs will be added at the time of shipping and charged to your credit card account with us.
 

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the merchandise you receive, you may request a replacement or refund. Please contact us within 30 days of your receipt of merchandise so that an exchange, refund or credit transaction can be arranged. A packing slip or a copy of your invoice and a note regarding the reason for the return is required. Items returned as a result of a customer order error will be subject to a 15% restocking charge.
 

Do I have to use UPS?
Hocking Valley Art Supply & Gallery will box items if you wish to arrange for a shipping method other than UPS Ground or US First Class Mail. Advance notice (at least 24 hours) for alternate shipping is required. Alternative shipments must be arranged by the customer and picked up at the Nelsonville, Ohio store.
